Tasting Notes
This limited creation is a nod to one of our founder’s Dutch heritage. The Dutch royal family bears the name ‘House of Orange’ and in Holland, on 27 April—King’s Day—street parties are thrown and people wear orange to celebrate the current King, Willem-Alexander’s birthday.
It’s made with more than one kind of orange peel (it’s very orange), has a sweet and citrus front note that ends with a slight bitterness from the Seville Orange peels.
A toast to the King (and the Dutch) for without ‘jenever’, the liquor that eventually inspired gin, life wouldn’t be the same!
