Our navy strength gin, with a robust 58% ABV, is the perfect choice for cocktails and still smooth enough for sipping. Navy strength gins must be above 57% ABV—the strength at which gin-drenched gunpowder still ignites when lit. This award-winning gin is creamy smooth with no rough edges.

The Black Powder recipe distinguishes itself from our Orchid Gin by bruising half the juniper pods and adding whole fresh lemons to the botanical blend, delivering a bright citrus note.

Tasting notes: Experience a robust citrus nose complemented by bold juniper character and a hint of pepper. This gin offers distinct umami with a rich depth of flavor, subtle sweetness, and inviting warmth. Enjoy the peppery herbal notes that lead to a long, lingering finish, which is both gentle and smooth.

Ingredients: Juniper, Cassia, Vanilla, Java Pepper and Amchoor (a fruity spice powder made from dried unripe green mango), Fresh Oranges and Lemons. 

How to enjoy: Over a large ice cube, or in a slightly dry Martini.
